This is an ETG Alcohol Urine Test. This test will be sent to the lab for testing.
- Ethyl Glucuronide (EtG)
- ETG (Alcohol Metabolite)
What is the reason for this test?
An ETG (Ethyl Glucuronide) alcohol test can typically detect alcohol consumption up to 80 hours after drinking, but some factors may influence this timeframe. Individual metabolism, the amount of alcohol consumed, and hydration levels can all affect how long ETG remains in the system. In some cases, heavy or frequent drinking may result in a longer detection window, but generally, the 80 hour mark is a common guideline. This test is usually court-ordered for probation, DUI programs, or other legal reasons. It can detect alcohol usage within the past 80 hours.
When will I get the results?
The estimated time for negative results is usually 1-3 business days, while non-negative results typically take 3-7 business days. These are just estimates based on our regular experience, and there is no guarantee that the actual time will be the same. Sometimes, confirmation testing, communication with the donor, and other logistical issues can delay the lab turnaround time.
