Yes. All oral fluid collections are 100% observed, as the donor places the collection device into their mouth in full view of the collector, significantly reducing the risk of tampering.
How fast are the results?
Lab-based oral fluid results are typically cleared within 24–48 hours of receipt at the laboratory. Non-negative results may require additional time for confirmatory testing.
Is oral fluid testing DOT-compliant?
Yes, the DOT has officially authorized oral fluid testing. However, it can currently only be utilized once laboratories are certified by DHHS specifically for DOT oral collections.
When should I choose oral testing over urine testing?
