Safety Oversight Roles: Individuals who oversee safety protocols and compliance for pipeline operations are considered safety-sensitive, as their work directly affects workplace safety. Control Room Operators: Employees who manage or monitor pipeline control systems are considered safety-sensitive because they are responsible for maintaining safe operations and responding to anomalies.
