Service Description

screenings4u DOT Consortia - FAA: All employers regulated by the FAA under 14 CFR Part 120, Subpart E, section 120.109(b), and Subpart F, section 120.217(c) are required to establish a random drug and alcohol testing program. This program requires all safety-sensitive employees to undergo testing at various times throughout the calendar year. The FAA outlines the definition of safety-sensitive employees requiring testing in section 120.105. Any employee, including assistants, helpers, or individuals in training, who engages in a safety-sensitive function as specified in this section, directly or through a contract (including subcontracts at any level), must participate in a drug testing program established in accordance with this subpart. This requirement applies to full-time, part-time, temporary, and intermittent employees, regardless of the level of supervision. Regulated employees include: Flight Crew Members: This includes pilots and co-pilots who operate aircraft and are responsible for passenger, crew, and cargo safety. Air Traffic Control Personnel: Employees who manage and direct air traffic, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft in the airspace and on the ground. Aircraft Maintenance Staff: Personnel involved in the maintenance, repair, and alteration of aircraft, including mechanics and technicians, who ensure that airplanes are safe to operate. Flight Attendants: Crew members responsible for passenger safety and service during flights, including emergency procedures and overall cabin safety. Ground Crew: Employees involved in ground operations, such as those handling fueling, baggage, and cargo loading, who play a critical role in ensuring safe aircraft operations before takeoff and after landing. The current rate for FAA random drug and alcohol testing is: 25% of the average number of covered positions for Controlled Substances. 10% of the average number of driver positions for Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT). You will receive a DOT Consortium Certificate at your email. If you order a drug test, you will receive an authorization form to your email. You may select any date and time, and we will reach out to you to confirm.
